We are happy and proud to introduce to you Elliot.

Immediately what comes to mind when I think of Elliot is his gentle, gentle nature. He is a softie. When relaxing on the big covered deck with us, Elliot will patiently wait his turn. He is not a hog at demanding that he be addressed first. He will patiently wait and when he sees everybody else satisfied and relaxing, it's then that he comes and sweetly nuzzles our hand for attention. He will sit contently by our side for hours. Just being with us is enough for him. He does not need to be constantly addressed. He just wants the honor of touching our feet as he rests—good enough for him.

When we go for walks in the woods, Elliot does not go roaming off to explore squirrels or good whiffs. No, he covets the position of walking with us—by our side. If another higher ranking male occupies that position, he will walk quietly behind, but we can count on the fact that he is there.

Another thing I think of when I think of Elliot is his huge heart! He is just such a big sweetie. Loves belly rubs, leg massages and being groomed.

Single words that describe Elliot are:

  • Faithful
  • Forgiving
  • Kind
  • Gentle
  • Loyal
  • Caring
  • Big Boned
  • Drafty

So, that takes me to the next place to describe Elliot. He's a rather large fellow. He is big boned, thick, and I could easily see him pulling a big ol' cart full of milk by Swiss Children. Each time they would come within tongue distance of him, they would get it right on the face with a smile from the big boy. Oh yes, and Elliot always has a smile on his dear face. His eyes look like half-moon in smile filled with joy whenever we are around. His tail gently sways back and forth to outwardly show us his love and affection.

He also happens to have some outstanding relatives! On the Top Side (Father)—all Stokerybos Champions. Including some of my favorites like... Emerson and Bobby. These are Hall of Famers. On the bottom (Mother) we have Barancourt who again is a Hall of Famer. His Pedigree is one we are pleased to share with those who show Bernese Mountain Dogs as well as those who want a faithful, trustworthy friend, and guard for their two year old.

Elliot is an awesome fellow, the complete package. We are confident his progeny will represent some of the best traits that the Bernese Mountain Dog breed has to offer.
