Baby Horses in Green Pastures

And then this happened! Oh what a wonderful day. Our dogs and us live on a working ranch/farm. We use horses to help us gather the cattle and move them from pasture to pasture to keep them in the nice green grass they love to eat. The mare is named Liberty and her beautiful new filly is named Indy. Indy is one day old in these photos, pretty wobble kneed, and even her ears in these photos are still kinda crooked, LoL. Fortunately all of this straightens out within a week. We are still quite thrilled with the black little filly Liberty brought into our lives this last summer. Welcome little Indy—we do so love you!
